Tacos Al pastor were incredible and so was the horchata. Staff super warm and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican food

Nice staff, great simple but traditional Mexican food, for incredible prices. Went with my whole family, with kids, and had a great time. Spanish, Portuguese and English speakers welcome!

Amazing food!! Drove 30 minutes plus from Miami to try this place out. Super authentic. Great staff, very welcoming and respectful. My favorite thing about this place of the many great things is that they have quite a variety you will not see anywhere else. If you are down for a great mexican restaurant, the you must try Taqueria Doña Raquel!

Excellent mexican food. My wife told about this place. She went on "5 de mayo" celebration in 2018. They threw a big party, my wife tolde it's delicious. So yesterday I thought about eating mexican food from a place I haven't eating yet. So we ordered to pick it up. We traveled from downtown Ft. Lauderdale to Pompano and the trip was worth it. Doña Raquel food is astonishing.

This is a very ni e establishment, their tortas are huge and delicious you can buy tacos by pounds,awesome, the service can improve is kind of slow, other than that great tasty food,highly recommended

The best place to get tacos on Florida

I really like the food but I went there for lunch time and they made wait 40 minutes to eat. I walked in and order then my food came 40 minutes later. Interior is very authentic, food was authentic and delicious as well but I won't go there for lunch. Maybe for a family dinner or something.

This place is great for authentic Mexican food. The service is fast for an authentic place. Their food and drinks are delicious, I'll recommend having a michelada if you like beer and want to try it the Mexican way.

The Mexican charm of Pompano Beach. A restaurant filled with so much character and an even larger menu selection. From their horchatas, to their chilaquilas (pictured), seafood options to even their authentic tortillas served with their tacos, Doña Raquel never fails to give me that authentic Mexican cuisine experience that I always crave.

This was our first time at this restaurant. I would highly recommend this place. We ordered 3 Asada tacos with everything on it. We also ordered the pork tacos with a piece of pineapple in it. It was delicious. Then we ordered the grilled steak with rice and beans. So good. My hubby ordered the chicken soup. It had real pieces of chicken. Geraldine was the perfect waitress. When you come in ask for her. She had so patience with and explained the menu to us.

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we came to this magnificent restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a lovely experience there with delicious cooking and a professional crew and a great chief cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely go again very soon. We warmly recommend.

This is the third time that I've ordered from here and nothing ever shows up. Be careful ordering from Uber Eats as I've had multiple drivers cancel upon transit. I'm presuming maybe the food is just that good that maybe they want it and refuse to deliver it to me? :)

Not great English translation but the authentic food was awesome.

Food is authentic as it gets.. When you walk in it has a mom and pop type of vibe but at the same time it feels like your in somewhere in Mexico. The tripe tacos are my faves also you can't go wrong with the lengua, cueritos... Delish

Real deal Mexican! Food was fantastic! We visit the Fort Lauderdale area at least twice a month. Now that we've discovered this gem we won't let a visit go by without a having a meal here. Everything is great! I've been searching for excellent Tamales for years throughout Florida, thier Tamales are out of bounds delicious! Best I've ever had!UPDATE - have been back several times, unfortunately they can be inconsistent. Sometimes still great, other times not nearly as good. Same goes for the service.

Truly excellent food. My coworkers coworkers and I stopped in on the way to a conference and were immediately greeted with two amazing salsas. The queso was delicious, and all three of our meals were top notch. I'll be returning any time I find myself in town.

Never got my food =[ waitress didn’t seem to care. Unfortunate because I have eaten here before and liked it. Hopefully they can do better next time.

What a great find! This restaurant is located in a random, small, quiet plaza. The restaurant itself is rather large with an open air kitchen and about 20 tables. We only tried the tacos but they were the perfect, most authentic tacos I've had in awhile. They dont look like much but the carne asada was very flavorful! You are greeted with chips and 2 spicy salsas (green - medium, red - hotter) that ended up pairing well with the tacos. The servers were all friendly and bilingual. Oh, and they have taco tuesdays! With BOGO free tacos

Food is almost like home made. The Al Pastor tacos are incredible and all the dishes are freshly made when ordered. Fully recommend if looking to eat real Mexican food

Their tortas are really good & we never had issue with the food but tonight the shrimp soup was gross & I brought it up to the server but nothing was done about it. You would think she would have offered to change to something else, or donskmething about it but nope.

So I when shopping for a lb of Carnitas.. i took it home when i got home I had cilantro that looked like it was cut yesterday and the lime, I mean this restaurant those well It suck i love buying food from thus place but comen they can do better and on top oc that my salsa it was a mess in the bag...

The worst shrimp cocktail I ever ordered in a Mexican restaurant . Plus ridiculously priced for the size and taste $14. Very disappointing experience.

Some great authentic Mexican food. As close to tacos from California or Mexico that I have found in South Florida. Service can be a little slow at times, it just depends on the day. Food is worth the wait though.

Lovely traditional Mexican food

This is one of my favorite spots for Mexican food because the menu is so extensive. On a normal day I get about five tacos but today I tried the Enchiladas. I must say that they were simply amazing. I like the salsa verde sauce that they put on them because it taste like tomatillos with seasoned salt, so flavorful. You can smell the garlic aroma off of the plate. I love the fact that while waiting for you food, they provide salsa and chips that seem to be freshly baked. They're very crispy and crunchy. There's plenty of the menu to try so I highly recommend this place. Everything from the sopes to the burritos guaranteed good quality.
